Local man to be featured on Michigan Out Of doors
Baron Bascom of Brooklyn took this giant swamp monster on November 16, 2019 in Jackson County. He got it from 200 yards out with a Bushmaster 450. The buck was scored, and will be in entered in the record books of Commemorative Bucks of Michigan and Boone and Crocket. The big boy scored 180 4/8, with a 23 inch spread and 15 points. Bascom also won Perry, Michigan’s Big Buck Night event that was held on January 5. He was later interviewed at Big Buck Night at Novi’s Outdoorama on February 27. The program will be aired on Michigan Out Of Doors on Thursday, April 2 on PBS at 9:30 a.m. Check it out.
