An unspecified amount of sewage has been spilled into Loch Erin, say authorities.
The Lenawee County Health Department has issued the following Health Advisory for Loch Erin:
“Lenawee County residents and visitors are advised to avoid physical contact with the body of  water known as Loch Erin until further notice. This body of water was subject to a discharge from a Lenawee County Drain Commission sanitary sewer system. The discharge originated in  the area of O’Geany Ct. and flowed towards Wadding Dr. before discharging into Loch Erin. “
The advisory does not apply to public or private drinking water supplies.
This advisory will remain in effect until results from water testing indicate Loch Erin water quality is not impacted from the sewage discharge.
